Tile Design: About the Process

As a designer/maker Pedro Kalache is captivated by the versatility of the tile: the variety of ways in which they can be made and used.

Tailored tile design is about creating high quality made to order ceramics for all types of settings and spaces.

Initial ideas are first discussed with the client and developed into a set of computer generated photomontages. These give a detailed, realistic impression of the finished and installed tilework, with various design options offered. Approved tile designs are then ready to be made into high quality ceramic pieces.

Tile works range from ornate reliefs, to the latest digital decal transfer processing – offering vast graphic and photographic compositional potential.

The work can be ordered online and can be delivered to the client by post. For mainland UK orders only, arrangements can be made for the work to be installed by the designer/maker.
